Today was a good day. At work I was faced with free pizza, candy, and cookies but I held my own. Man how I love food but when I get started I’ve been able to really put myself in the zone where these temptations don’t faze me very often. Some of my weaknesses are homemade chocolate chip cookies, oreo’s, and spaghetti. I love spaghetti with meat sauce and cookies man as long as I have a tall glass of milk I can eat any cookie out there. Some days are tougher than others, today though, was a pretty easy day.
Jennie and the girls just got done doing their workouts. Our plans for Hawaii are getting closer so we’re putting the extra reps in and cutting down the rest time. I’m excited that my kids are excited to do their exercises every night too. That’s something I hope to instill in my children early is the importance of health and fitness. No, Jennie and I are not sugar Nazis but we’re trying to teach them early to make good food choices. And for those out there who have kids know how tough that is. My oldest will eat cereal, mac and cheese, cheese, and cheese sandwiches. My second is better though, she’ll sit down with me and eat her broccoli and veggies with no dressing or anything and she likes it. I don’t how or why but we’re trying to ride that wave as long as we can. So if you’re struggling to change your health and fitness on your own maybe consider including your family in on the fun. So far it’s been working for us. Have a good night everyone. I know it gets repetitive but here’s my intake and workout for the day.
